Swim Lessons

Boys and Girls Club of Dane County

Through our partnerships with Boys and Girls Club of Dane County and Madison School and Community Recreation we fund swim lessons that serve youth at the Boys and Girls Club of Dane County. Youth from the Boys and Girls Club of Dane County get access to swim lessons and programing through Madison School and Community Recreation at the Goodman pool. Funding helps support swim instructors, lifeguards, pool access, swim equipment, etc. Madison has only one public pool and there is limited access to swimming and swim lessons as a result. This program helps fill a need in the community to help provide the important life saving water safety skills. The Shelley Glover Foundation has been supporting this swim programming for over 20+ years.
